It is not recommended to use this medication for longer than 28 days or 4 weeks. As this medication can make you feel drowsy driving, using tools or operating heavy machinery is not recommended. Because this medication works on the body in a similar way to alcohol (to slow down the central nervous system) the pair should not be used together. Using this medication with alcohol can reduce the heart rate to extremely low levels.
